Bumbu figurines are made of Romanian wood, with pure and detailed craftsmanship. They guarantee not only the highest quality toys, but also the safety of your child.
Our animal figurines are designed, cut and painted by hand in Romania using different varieties of Romanian hardwood. Each piece is unique and we pour a lot of love, passion and time in everything we make. We use high quality products to ensure each piece will be a worthy partner for even the more adventurous partners in play. Aș a small family-run business, we employ local artisans in an effort to sustain the local economy and help preserve local craftsmanship. In an effort to perfect our product and ensure our toys are as inclusive as possible, we consult a psychologist who specializes in early child development and intervention during our design process. After sanding and hand painting we use an organic oil to prevent sweat and saliva from damaging the wood. 100% NON-TOXIC.

The product is made of solid wood, minimally processed to retain as much of its natural texture and properties as possible. Unlike plastic, wood is an uneven natural material that frequently shows growth rings or knots, colour stains or rough areas. These ARE NOT DEFECTS and DO NOT CONSTITUTE REASON TO REPLACE THE PRODUCT - they are distinctive signs that guarantee the natural origin of the product and give uniqueness to each toy, telling the story of the tree from which it was made.
