Axolotls are salamanders that reach adulthood without losing their gills, remaining fully aquatic. While endangered in the wild, captive bred axolotls are popular in the pet trade.

Scientific Name: Ambystoma mexicanum

The axolotl's gills, finned tail, little arms and legs, and tiny black eyes are all visible on this tiny translucent figurine.
