We have a lot of Stockmar and other high quality art supplies. Yet my kids go for these every time. These are unique in that you can use them on several surfaces and wipe them clean each time. Although I don't recommend using them on walls.

So far my kids have used these on a chalkboard, whiteboard, and glass (and the wall). The colors are really vibrant. The crayons are really creamy so you don't have to push nor go over the same spot repeatedly to get a good color payoff. They wipe off glass, chalkboard, and whiteboard really well with water.

We get a lot of rain here. My little ones are content coloring with these indoors on our large glass door and ask to do it often. I'm happy to let them!

I did notice that the crayons do get used up a lot quicker than say Stockmar crayons. They are also more slender and much more easier to break than other crayons. They are still worth it for us due to being able to wipe them off of glass.

I chose these because they are a non toxic, versatile outlet for creativity. I really liked that they are made in Japan as well.
